Larin earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre from Texas State University where she studied acting, directing, design and many other facets of theatre production. She has won awards for her acting, properties and make-up design. Larin currently works as an On-call Stagehand for I.A.T.S.E. Local 51. She briefly worked as the Propertied Supervisor for Miller Outdoor Theatre. Larin is thrilled to be a company member of Mildred’s Umbrella Theater, most recently as the Sound Designer for Five Women Wearing the Same Dress and Sound Operator for Pollywog, Carnival Round the Central Figure and Kimberly Akimbo. Some of Larin’s other Houston credits include Lighting Designer, Light and Sound Board Operator for Big Head Productions production of Dangerous Liaisons. Sound for Big Head’s productions of Evil in Justiceberg; Cabal Productions production of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead; Watch My Groove’s production of Fade to Black. Light and Sound Operator for The Company Onstage’s production of Young Man from Atlanta. As a member of Houston Community College Stafford’s production staff, they produced Sweeney Todd and Baby with the Bathwater and she was the Scenic Artist for Our Town. Working with Stages Repertory Theatre she was a member of the Electrics crew for I Am My Own Wife and Zero Hour and was a member of the Running Crew for The Great American Trailer Park Musical and Five Course Love. She was a member of the running crew for Black Lab’s production of Chinglish. With Driven Theater Company’s production of Fragmentation IV she served as a Director. Larin was the Light Board Operator for Theatre Southwest’s production of Night of the Iguana. In Italy, Larin painted and built the sets for Don Giovanni, La Traviata and El Mundo Della Luna, operated the light board and participated in the running crew while working with the touring opera company La Musica Lirica.
