A native Houstonian, Ron graduated from Kingwood High School, and received two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Texas. Along the way, he performed with Vortex, Frontera, and Public Domaine in Austin, and dos chicas in Houston. After teaching high school theater for six years at Sterling High School in Baytown, he moved to Baton Rouge to get his MFA in acting from Louisiana State University. More recently, he lived in the New Orleans area auditioning for film roles he never got. But now he’s back in the H-Town theater scene and was recently seen in Mildred’s Umbrella’s Mac Wellman’s Dracula, Rome, Red Death and Museum of Dysfunction.
